Patterns on screen also mean the main logic board is ok.
VIZIO PLASMA IMAGE CLEANER TV
If you get test patterns on the screen then you are halfway to fixing your tv as it means the most expensive part the screen is ok and the buffers. There are two point near resistor p104 they are the only places on the control (logic) board you can bridge. Haha i know how it is im unemployed myself so have to fix everything myself - fixed my car twice thi syear, washing machine, cooker - good thing about being skint is you are forced to learn new things out of necessity.įirst remove the lvds cable from the control board to the main board. By bypassing the main video board by shorting those 2 pads on the logic control board (and hopefully getting a test pattern.I'm guessing do this with it turned off and it will turn itself on) I can verify my PDP is still good (which has me worried getting all this crazy looking pixels all over the screen) and perhaps tell me that my main video board is bad? Am I crazy or this sound correct?
VIZIO PLASMA IMAGE CLEANER FULL
I've got an upper y-buffer coming today so that now maybe I can have an entire full screen full of crazy colored pixels to look at until I can figure out what this problem is.
VIZIO PLASMA IMAGE CLEANER CODE
I've purchased used componets off ebay (supposedly 100% ust here.) and replaced the y-sus (same crazy amount of colored pixels across bottom.can't make anything out on screen).replaced z-sus (same resulting colored pixels covering entire lower half).I've even purchased another logic control board (same resulting colors.but get a different D101 blink code on the logic control board). Turn tv on, lower half of screen full of all sorts of colored pixels moving around (connected to video source and am guessing they're moving with the video). Removed from tv and checked lower y-buffer (no shorts). Found top y-buffer, 2nd chip down shorted. Press the RIGHT arrow button to exit and start watching TV.Here's the long version. When finished, your TV will display the COMPLETE screen to let you know setup is complete. Use the DOWN arrow button to select the CABLE option if you are using cable service without a box, then press the RIGHT arrow button twice to start an available channel search that your remote will store in its memory.
